Parisa Abdollahi

Abdollahi is the owner of PARISA Rugs & Décor. Influenced by a childhood spent in Iran and Switzerland, as well as frequent travels, she brings an international sensibility to the company.

Combining her profound understanding of design with her wealth of knowledge in the rug industry, Abdollahi frequently collaborates with designers and clients to ensure that the perfect pieces are selected to complement and enhance any particular concept.

PARISA Rugs & Décor debuted at the Marketplace Design Center in January 2000. Abdollahi obtained her Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture + Design from Drexel University in 2003.

In the ensuing years, Abdollahi and her team have designed numerous residential and commercial spaces in the greater Philadelphia area, Stone Harbor, Princeton, Boca Raton and San Diego, among others. Her spaces are eclectically modern, embracing traditional classicism with unexpected clean lines, while emphasizing comfort and functionality without compromising sophistication; always keeping her client's desire, lifestyle and personalities in mind. 

In 2012, she fused her passion for rugs, architecture and design, resulting in the launch of her first licensed rug collection for internationally distinguished manufacturer Kalaty Rug Corporation.
